magnetic typography – Dominic Le-Hair

If typography’s your thing, then UK designer Dominic Le-Hair is your man. Le-Hair cut rubber magnets into letters, wedged them between sheets of paper, sprinkled the whole thing with iron filings, et voila, words appear like magic. The lyrics come from the Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy song Even If Love

And if you’re a closet pyromaniac, check out this other project, in which he set alight carved pieces of barbecue fire-lighter blocks spelling out the lyrics to Bigmouth Strikes Again by the Smiths.
