illustrated illusions – cesar del valle

painting etc

These hyper-real drawings by Columbian illustrator Cesar del Valle appear to jump off the page.

Interacting with the environments in which they are situated, his characters become a part of the physical world they find themselves in, whether that be leaning on the gallery wall, jumping off of it or peering out from it. The illusions he creates are so life-like that they appear to be suspended in mid animation.
